Luna welcomes the stars

Following the success of our first Michelin star event with chef Paolo Barrale last June, we are excited to announce the arrival of yet another Michelin super star.

Michelino Gioia will be hosting a five-course event for one night only at Luna restaurant on 11 October.

Michelino is the head chef at Il Pellicano, in Sardinia. Local diners will get a taste of this master’s work whilst sitting in the pristine gardens of Palazzo Parisio should the weather be fine, or in the cosy palazzo if the weather is bad. Priced at €100, this five-course meal is a collection of both Michelino’s signature dishes served at Il Pellicano, like the seared scallops topped with a pork cracker and served with apple and mashed potatoes, as well as other dishes prepared specially for the occasion. Every dish will be expertly paired with wines from Italy.

Michelino spent 13 years at Cesar, the famous shore side restaurant at Il Pelicano’s sister hotel La Posta Vecchia. His cooking style is traditional in nature, though his dishes are transformed to create a contemporary experience.

He is renowned for creating dishes that leave you thinking about your meal long after the last morsels have been cleaned off your plate.

This is a limited event, so book your table early to avoid disappointment.
