In summer 2005 Palazzo Parisio was included in the definitive guide to Italian gardens, Grandi Giardini Italiani – the only gardens in the collection that are not actually within the republic of Italy – as a recognition that they are truly and classically Italian in every sense. It is a fitting tribute to Baroness Christiane who has been personally responsible for overseeing the restoration and replanting schemes.
