LUNA RESTAURANT –
A BOUNTY FOR THE SENSES
With the relaunch of the botanically-themed Luna restaurant, balance has been restored at the Palazzo. Bringing the outdoors into the cool shade of the palace, it has been masterfully brought back to life by a team of the best local and international craftspeople and designers.
Leading the charge was Neaopolitan architect Antonio Girardi, a specialist in luxury hotels and private residences with a stellar portfolio from Capri to Rome. With the interior at the Palazzo, he has fused both eclecticism and elegance to create a restaurant worthy of the stately home it sits within.

Completing the tour-de-force for the senses, our Chef David Giacomelli features the best each season has to offer with our changing menus. Where possible, the dishes are inspired and completed with ingredients grown from our gardens.
Bookending the warmer hours in summer and basking in the glorious sun in winter, the garden restaurant takes on many guises. From sumptuous brunches to sundowners with afternoon tea in between, there really is no other place like it in Malta. Let the jasmine-scented breeze whet your appetite and accompany you as you enjoy live entertainment in the summer months. Alternatively, cozy up indoors in winter with warming dishes. and Our lunch and dinner menus change with the seasons, so opportunities for new visits are always beckoning.
THE GARDEN BAR
Before a backdrop of bougainvillea, The Garden Bar is a wonderful setting for Aperitivo. Our house mixologists and bartenders will conjure up bespoke cocktails and their own takes on the classics, as well as gems from the Palazzo’s wine cellars. To accompany, our bar snacks include convivial sharing boards and elegant small plates bursting with fresh flavours from our kitchen garden.

AFTERNOON TEA UNDER THE JASMINE CANOPY
Many years ago, the English aristocracy found a way to fill that window between lunch and supper, giving their chefs a chance to show off their skills in miniature in a tiered tower of delicate finger sandwiches, melt-in-the-mouth pastries and all manner of cakes, served with fine bone china cups of tea.
A beloved fixture in the local culinary scene, afternoon tea at the Palazzo was introduced by the late Baroness to showcase the creations of our pastry chefs and to serve our specialist teas and coffee. An island institution, our afternoon tea is served between 3-6pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
