This November, Palazzo Parisio is delighted to host a special evening of classical music curated by the Naxxar Local Council. On 27 November, the palace’s historic Ballroom will set the stage for a refined clarinet and piano recital featuring internationally acclaimed clarinettist Antonello Timpani, accompanied by pianist Antonio D'Antò.

Antonello Timpani is one of Italy’s most distinguished clarinet performers, recognised for his expressive tone, refined technique and remarkable artistic range. A graduate of the Conservatory “L. Refice” in Frosinone, he went on to study with notable masters including Franco Ferranti and Antony Pay. His impressive career spans performances at iconic venues such as Teatro alla Scala, Teatro San Carlo and Teatro La Fenice, as well as concerts across Europe, Israel and the United States.

Antonio D'Antò is a distinguished pianist, composer and conductor, with over 150 works performed across Europe, the Americas and Asia. He teaches at the Conservatory "L. Refice" in Frosinone and was honoured as Knight of Merit of the Italian Republic in 2013.

He has collaborated with major symphony orchestras, recorded for renowned labels, premiered contemporary works by celebrated composers, and regularly serves on international competition juries. Timpani is also a respected educator, teaching at the Conservatory of Frosinone and sharing his expertise with musicians across Europe.

Joined by Fabiana Zawadzka on piano, the recital will explore a captivating programme of classical and contemporary pieces, showcasing the expressive depth and versatility of the clarinet.
