Regional Flavours - A Taste of Piedmont
Regional Flavours is back. We’re taking a deeper dive into the wonderful world of gastronomy, one region at a time. Take in the bouquet of the area as we explore some of the region’s most sought-after wines and indulge in some of the most delectable cheeses and charcuterie.
Led by expert Petros Skarmoutsos, our sommeliers will crack open some wonderful bottles for you to try, while they take you on a tour of the stunning terroirs and the flavours associated with the wines on offer. Beautifully paired with a selection of cheese and charcuterie from the region, a night of Regional Flavours promises to be as educational as it is delicious!
This week, we’ll be heading over to Piedmont. This regione conjures visions of fog-shrouded hills, white truffle-sniffing dogs and noble wines. Most wine lovers associate Piedmont with the famous reds of Barolo, but as anyone who has visited the region knows, it’s large, complex and full of surprises. A thousand books could be written on Piedmont.
Following the tasting, more wine will be poured for guests to enjoy while they enjoy some premium cheese and charcuterie from the region, whilst mingling and making the most of the rest of the evening.
