Nothing says Italian culture more than Aperitivo hour – a celebration of the end of a long day, whilst whetting your appetite for your evening meal. We are excited to be launching our Aperitivo afternoons every day from 3pm.

Aperitivo is thought to have been created by the distiller Antonio Benedetto Carpano, who also created one of the first types of vermouth in Turin in 1786. He claimed that his special combination of fortified white wine and various herbs and spices stimulated the appetite and was more suitable for ladies to drink than red wine. It thus became one of the first popular aperitivo drinks.
Today, the simple drink has evolved and spread south to encompass those glorious couple of hours when people meet before dinner to relax over a glass of wine or a light cocktail and finger foods.
Our Cocktails
Our cocktail list includes spritzers, sours, and a selection of classics, all having taken on a Palazzo Parisio twist – our Negroni with sage-infused gin is particularly special, or if you’re looking for something a little sweeter, try our Bramble, adapted specially to the tastes of Baroness, Justine Pergola.

Happy Hour
Live life happy with two-for-one offers on cocktails during our Happy Hours, that’s right, HOURS with an s. Running from 5pm till closing time, Palazzo Parisio has just become your favourite watering hole, the perfect place the wind down after work and enjoy the beautiful summer evenings in the garden.

Our Menu
For when you’re feeling a little peckish, our menu includes a brand-new selection of Bar Bites, carefully curated by Head Chef David Giacomelli. Softshell crab tempura with pineapple and coriander salad, crispy pork belly tacos and oxtail croquettes are already flying off the menu, whilst other popular bar bites include focaccia with porchetta, fish cakes with sweet chilli sauce and an arancini basket. Everything is made in-house, with a selection of ingredients grown in our very own vegetable garden.

We are running Aperitivo every afternoon, starting from 3pm and running all the way until closing time – from Tuesday to Thursday and Sunday that is 7pm and at the weekend, on Friday and Saturday nights, Aperitivo will be available until 11pm.

From July, we’ll be kicking it up a notch at the weekend, with live music sessions from our resident musicians Nick Barrett or Jessica Magro with Siobhan Vassallo, or resident DJ Don Peltrinsky. Make Palazzo Parisio the place to be in Naxxar this summer, with long summer evenings in the gardens.
