RELAXED DINING ON THE GARDEN TERRACE, EVERY PLATE BURSTING WITH FLAVOUR
During warmer days in the great brasserie tradition, The Garden Restaurant serves classic dishes featuring robust flavours, impeccably cooked. As you take your seat on the terrace, shaded from the sun, you’ll be handed a wine list curated by our sommelier to complement every dish. Ingredients are seasonal, marrying citrus, olives, herbs and salads grown here in our kitchen garden, and artisan produce sourced locally from trusted purveyors, farmers and fishermen.
THE GARDEN BAR
Before a backdrop of bougainvillea, The Garden Bar is a wonderful setting for Aperitivo. Our house mixologists and bartenders will conjure up bespoke cocktails and their own takes on the classics, as well as gems from the Palazzo’s wine cellars. To accompany, our bar snacks include convivial sharing boards and elegant small plates bursting with fresh flavours from our kitchen garden.
TAKE AFTERNOON TEA IN THE SHADE OF A FLOWERING TREE
Many years ago, the English aristocracy found a way to fill that window between lunch and supper, giving their chefs a chance to show off their skills in miniature in a tiered tower of tiny finger sandwiches, melt-in-the-mouth pastries and all manner of cakes, served with delicate bone china cups of tea. The Baroness introduced tea to the Palazzo some time ago, initially baking all the cakes and occasionally serving them herself.
Even today, in our bustling professional kitchen, the Baroness sometimes pops in to make a cake or two - and guests may find themselves enjoying a slice of one of her bakes. The Baroness commissioned our afternoon tea set to showcase the creations of our pastry chefs and serve our specialist Jing Tea blends. An island institution, our afternoon tea is served between 3-6pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
